What is Homebirth?

Homebirth with a professional midwife is a safe option for low risk mothers and offer better outcomes while avoiding unnecessary interventions. You will always remember the moment you met your child, I am honored to support you as you birth your baby in the comfort of your home and enjoy those precious first moments surrounded by your loved ones.

I, as a midwife, strive to provide care that centers around you and your family. I encourage you to take an active role in your care and by doing that we can achieve a positive birth experience. I welcome your family to participate in your prenatal appointments. Many families enjoy the inviting atmosphere that prenatal appointments with a midwife offer. I enjoy getting to know my clients and providing complete care that is as unique as you and your baby are.

As your midwife I provide:

  • Complete prenatal care including prenatal checks, support and education during your pregnancy and postpartum period
  • Full support during labor and delivery
  • Baby newborn check
  • Unlimited access for all your concerns and questions
  • Care for you and your baby for the first 6 weeks after birth
  • Breastfeeding support

“The Midwives Model of Care is a fundamentally different approach to pregnancy and childbirth than contemporary obstetrics. Midwifery care is uniquely nurturing, hands-on care before, during, and after birth. Midwives are health care professionals specializing in pregnancy and childbirth who develop a trusting relationship with their clients, which results in confident, supported labor and birth.”
